According to the Danish Working Environment Authority's guidelines for personal protective equipment, you must follow the supplier's instructions on storage and maintenance of the fall protection equipment.
During an inspection, we check, among other things, that the equipment is functional and meets the safety requirements that apply to the individual units, and that the equipment is not defective due to, for example, wear and tear, UV radiation, et cetera.
Faldsikringsudstyr må ikke bruges
The same rules apply to permanently installed fall protection systems, according to inspections at least every 12 months. We carry out the statutory inspections of wire and rail systems.
After the inspection, you will receive a complete inspection report, which states the status of the inspection, with any errors and deficiencies, as well as improvements that can be made to optimize safety for the user.

Tips for permanent systems
If you have permanently installed anchor points, these must also be inspected at least every 12 months. Permanently installed anchor points must also be approved according to EN 795 and have a visible identification so that the user has no doubt about their durability.
Safework inspect and test fixed anchor points according to the manufacturers' instructions and, if the customer so wishes, prepare a complete test report for each individual anchor point.
Ladders must undergo an inspection at least every 12 months. This applies to both permanent and freestanding ladders. It is important that the user has no doubts about the safety of the ladder and how the ladder may be used.
During an inspection, we check the ladder according to the manufacturer's instructions, including for defects on steps, rungs and feet, for defects such as pictograms, feet and chains, etc.
As a user, you will subsequently receive a control form per ladder and you will also have the opportunity to access the control form online.

As a user, you receive access to the system and are automatically notified of upcoming inspections of your equipment as well as any product recalls from equipment manufacturers.
We also have a number of video instructions for the system. You can find them here: Safework on Youtube
